A couple of weeks ago, Neha and I made the decision to move just outside of Delhi, primarily for our nine month old. It's quieter and the air is cleaner. So far so good.

It sort of sucked leaving the first home Neha and I had since we got married. But the idea of new beginnings is always exciting, especially when you love design like us. Decorating the new house has become our "thang" over the past few weekends and a good, welcoming step away from the usual. Each of us decided to take on different nooks through out the house, reflecting our individual personalities (and kookiness).

Below are some shots. The setup is still very much "WIP" and as more nooks are completed, I'll add them here.

The Minimal Nook. PS: The white stand below the vase is AI generated to test whether or not it will look good. Current consensus: Yay.

The Observation Nook. A corner in my home office dedicated to observing. The tangibles (night sky), intangibles (Metaverse) or semi-tangible (a good non-fiction book).

The Click Nook. A minimal nook for some of my B&W photography and most importantly my first DSLR camera, the Nikon D40.

Nit's Nook. PS: We are still figuring out what to put in the frames, so we used AI to generate some (pretty awful) line drawings.

The Perpetual TBD Nook. I think everyone should have a perpetual TBD. This nook with its blank frames and "thinking caps" is a representation of mine.

The Sweaty Nook. Thanks Subho Smash for helping me putting this together.

The Un-City Nook. Here you just simply step out and stare at the sky and trees.

All the images were shot using a iPhone 14 Pro Max. Edited using Snapseed.
